Any property found in the pub (inside or outside) after closing time will be retained for 48 hours.  Items of clothing will be donated to local charity shops.  Car keys and house keys will be deposited with the local police.  Wallets, purses and handbags will be disposed of and any credit cards or debit cards cut in half before disposal.  Where there is a contact phone number, we will always endeavour to contact the owners.  However, we do not post items where there is only a postal address.

 

Where illegal substances are found, the matter will immediately be reported to the local police and the items placed in an evidence bag.  In these circumstances it may not be possible to return the items to the owner.
